Terms of use
Last updated October 30, 2026.
ToolSpruce gives you free browser tools for images and PDFs. By using the site you agree to these terms. They are a practical explanation of how the site is offered, not a substitute for advice about your own situation.
The tools
The tools run on your device. You are responsible for the files you open in them and for checking the download before you rely on it. Conversion can change quality, drop metadata, or omit PDF features such as passwords, signatures, and some form fields. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
Acceptable use
Use ToolSpruce for files you have the right to use. Don’t use the site to infringe copyright, to distribute illegal material, or to interfere with the site. The tools do not give you any rights in someone else’s photos or documents.
The site
The ToolSpruce name, the spruce mark, and the text of the pages belong to the site. The tools themselves are free to use, including for personal and ordinary commercial file chores. Third-party libraries keep their own licenses; those are listed in the project README for anyone running the code.
No warranty
The site and tools are provided as-is, without a warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. A browser can run out of memory, a HEIC profile can fail to decode, and a future browser change can affect a tool. To the extent the law allows, ToolSpruce is not liable for lost files, lost profits, or damage from using or being unable to use a tool.
Changes
These terms can be updated by changing this page. The date at the top will change with them. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
